Digitization of physical catalogues, developing smart light weight 3D models that are configurable by the end user and finally a user friendly, intuitive front end user interface.
Project Background
The client had physical catalogues of their product lines and wanted to augment sales leveraging the demand for light weight configurable 3D models and drawings. The other challenge was on standardizing some of their product lines across a recently acquired brand.

Our Solution
Our team of senior engineers with sound domain knowledge in using pneumatic cylinders initiated the study of the part catalogues of both the brands. APPSistem identified 14 opportunities to standardizing the add-on accessories of the pneumatic cylinders like mounting brackets, rod eyes, rod clevis and others.
All parts, assemblies were modeled as light weight smart models driven by design tables and logical programming.
APPSistem created a UI to gather the configurable inputs and link them to the smart models.
