APPSistem is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PTC Windchill PLM Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.

About the Role:

The Windchill PLM Solution Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture, performance, and scalability of our Windchill environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to understand their needs and translate them into effective PLM solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Windchill functionalities, best practices, and integration capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Windchill PLM solutions to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain the Windchill system architecture, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Configure and customize Windchill modules, including PDMLink, Windchill ProjectLink, and other relevant applications.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies and processes.
• Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD, CRM).
• Provide technical guidance and support to Windchill users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill system issues.
• Develop and deliver training materials for Windchill users.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Windchill releases and technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the development of PLM best practices and standards.
• Participate in project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in implementing and supporting Windchill PLM systems.
• Deep understanding of Windchill architecture, functionalities, and customization options.
• Strong experience with Windchill modules such as PDMLink, Windchill ProjectLink, etc.
• Proficiency in Windchill administration and configuration.
• Experience with data migration and integration with other enterprise systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ¹  
• Experience in CPG, Medical, Automotive, aerospace domains is a plus.

PTC certifications are a plus.
